Planning to finish it: yes, definitely.
Caffeine levels: rising.
As Hour 9 dawns, I close the first book I’ve completed this Readathon, proudly enter it into the Readathon Books Read database, and put a pizza in the oven. Muchly deserved omnomnom shall ensue shortly.
Meanwhile, here are the figures:
Hours reading – eight, with negligible breaks.
Pages read – 310.
Books completed – one, paperback.
Challenges completed – four:
Reading on a Break in a Post-Apoc Firefight
Top Gear’s Richard Hammond’s autobiography and a Firebird Trans Am
A tie between issue #1 of True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, signed by Becky Cloonan and Gabriel Ba; and Robin Hobb’s Assassin’s Apprentice.
In the fifth hour of Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-Thon, it’s time for the Book Staging mini-challenge hosted by On the Wings of Books.
My entry features the autobiography of Richard Hammond, my most favouritest of persons on Top Gear, next to a model of a (1979) Firebird Trans Am, my most favouritest of cars in the world. Here’s to hoping the Hamster gets to drive one of these on screen once, so I can die happily.
